This is the reason why marketing is a strategic body of knowledge. If you try serving everybody, you will end up displeasing everybody.
You product is meant to solve a very particular problem of a very particular group of people. If you try to offer your product to everybody, you will end up being an annoying a lot of people. Worst of it all, you will end up tired and frustrated.
So don’t serve everyone, serve and go the extra mile of serving and pleasing a particular group of people. If you do, you might end up being the only product that your chosen group of people prefer.
